Photographer's Note

Asi Cosi, 6 Gloucester Yard, 121-123 Gloucester Road, North Laine, Brighton, East Sussex. I believe the shop is a tailors', which doesn't fully explain why the Little Tramp is seen inside, unless he's having a long-overdue fitting for a new suit. And is that his bicycle parked outside??

Hello Will,

I like the composition very much with Charlie Chaplain peering out from the widow. The modern bicycle was invented in 1895 simultaneously by a French and a German engineer. But your 21st century mountain bike is in a sense a throwback to Leonardo's 500 year old design.

This is a delightful photograph, very well seen and very well taken too.

I'm not quite sure of the relevance of Charlie Chaplin either but his presence certainly adds to the appeal of this picture rather than detracting from it. And, of course, the bright blue and yellow bike is the star of the show here.

A very good and pleasing composition with lovely bright light and vibrant colours, perfect exposure and exquisite details and sharpness as always.

Ha! A clever image, Will - I can image a comic silent scene in which Mr. Chaplin emerges to ride the bike a ways down the road. Of course there's quite a color difference as well! Thanks for a laugh.
