Hello nina,

I had to look what was clinging on!
You have captured this drama of the gnarled roots with excellent clarity.
They really do look to be holding on!
The scene looks like something from 'The Lord of the Rings'!
Not an easy scene to compose but you have placed the trunk strongly in the frame, using its branches as an inwards guide.

Hi Nina,
That old tree is truely photogenic. Your framing is excellent showing the trunk off centre and the path going round the tree on the lower edge. Various shades of green give quite calm feeling.
