hello Loch Ossian is remote from public roads, and the nearest access is from Corrour railway station. On its banks near the western end of the loch stands Loch Ossian youth hostel, which belongs to the Scottish Youth Hostels Association (SYHA). The hostel was recently restored as an 'eco-hostel', boasting wind and solar power, and grey water and dry toilet systems. At the eastern end of the loch is Corrour Lodge. source wik

Hello Dale,
The conversion to B&W has made this view very expressive. The rocks in the foreground, and their reflections, and the small islets covered with trees are very strong eye-catchers. The thin layer of ice , with the water shining through here and there, has created a very attractive pattern on the surface of the lake.

the longer I look at this one the more and more I like it.
a clear fg and bg separation works well, the trees in the back really stand out and I notice them right away. excellent contrasts all over here. cheers
