Photographer's Note
Glasgow is well known for its amazing giant murals. Out of three murals, which I had the chance to see, this was the only one which I have seen well lit by the sunshine and which therefore offered itself to be photographed.
The mural was created in 2018 by Smug, the Australian artist based in Glasgow. It is his second mural in town.
It presents an image of St Enoch tenderly holding her young son, Kentigern, St Mungo, who is Glasgow's founder and patron saint.
In fact the first mural of this artist can be seen a bit further up the same street and it features St Mungo as an adult.
The robin is present on both murals, it refers to one of St Mungo's miracles, with the patron saint of Glasgow believed to have brought the bird back to life.
Breastfeeding in public is supposedly a controversial issue. I never understood why it is a problem for some people.
I have sourced the information about this mural from the following article. You can see there also photos of the artist at work:

Hello Mariusz,
Besides being a wonderful mural on this street view, the painted wall carry a message for mothers whereeverr they are, a world wide campain for breastfeeding. We get sometimes such a notion in Israel as well.
A fine take steet view, red car and the building itself are attractive objects added.
Have a nice new day,
Ike

I don't remember this mural, it has photographic quality, despite being washed by the time marvelous maternal scene. nowadays there are so many idiot people in evidence in the world. when I was a little boy I saw these scenes so many times, in fact in this aspect the woman isn't a sexual object, she is a mother, even in some images and paintings of mary we can see her breastfeeding baby jesus.
take care

Hello Mariusz,
What a great mural at the side of this house, which looks really nice as well. The giant mother and child look great in this bright sunlight. Also that robin is a nice bonus, just as the red car in the foreground.

Hello Mariusz, what a beautiful mural, and taken in a lovely light so that all the colours and details are very clear.
The building too is rather impressive.
There are some very talented artists about.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Mariusz
You recorded a very beautiful view of this mural. Combines well with architecture as a canvas. The red car adds depth to the image. Clarity and lighting done well. Thanks for sharing

Lubie ogladac/fotografowac murale. Tutaj troche kloci sie ten obraz z ladna kamienica, ale widocznie byl taki pomysl na zagospodarowanie tej sciany byc moze po wyburzonym budynku.
Ciekawa prezentacja, jakosc jak zwykle super
pozdrawiam

Hi Mariusz
I didn't realise that Smug had snuck off to Glasgow. There are many great murals of his in Australia and especially good are his silo murals.
You chose well in taking this good one in good light. The mural is well placed on the side of the photo.
cheers
Ian

Hello Mariusz,
This is a mural with a very strong message and you have done it justice with this sharp photograph, clearly relating where it is is situated, on the side of a building. Every time the traffic lights are at red, drivers will get an excellent opportunity to view the mural.
I wondered why we hadn't seen this when we were in Glasgow, but of course, we went before it had been painted!!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Mariusz,
The robin has turned its back to mother and child.
Breastfeeding in public is not controversial everywhere.
I saw it a long time ago in a full Syrian bus where no one had a problem with it. Well, in a time before IS existed.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Mariusz,
This is an excellent work of art, on the side of an attractive building. The loving mother commands attention, and the passing red car is a nice bit of extra color, too. Take care!
