Photographer's Note
View from the Scott Monument on Princes Street across the Mound to the Castle and Royal Mile.
Required two grads to balance the exposure. Unfortunately I didn't have my polarizer so there is some glare from the folliage and a slight harshness.
Stability was provided by a beanbag on a railing.

This is an outstanding shot of the Edinburgh skyline; its surely the most photogenic city skyline in the country. The composition is excellent, and the city looks at its best on this nice sunny day. My only gripe is with the huge tree on the right, but short of cutting it down there isn't much you could do about that.
Good work.

Hi Craig
You've done well here considering the difficult sun angles in Princes Street and managed to extract good detail in the buildings on the Mound.
Dougie.

Gotta love this! One of the finest city centre views on the planet - and on a blue-sky day as well.
I love the beanbag improvisation - well done on that. You carry one around whenever you're out photographing?

hi,
nice view really, now got a little regretful for being lazy and not going to the top of the Scott monument!
lucky you have got a clear sky as well.

Serdar
