Photographer's Note
The remains of this old hedge always catch my eye when there's an interesting cloudscape behind them.
Near Castleton, North Yorkshire.

Beautiful colors & clouds. What caught my eyes was the trees which from the thumbnail I thought were grazing horses. Latiff

Good shot, but like carper I too would crop the shot, differently from him however. I agree that road would go but I would place the hedgerow further to the left of the image. The low horizon certainly does work and overall it is a very pleasant image to view.

hello Colin,
whatever the crop, you have a fine Constable sky.
Well captured,

I like it Colin.
for myself I would crop it, the piece of road would I crop, and then I would made the shot higher, by cropping it from the left and the right side till the right balance for the composition. The captured sky is marvelous. I like the low horizon too. But I know for sure that you can do better with this shot, farther good job here.

Yo Colin,
I like this minimal approach and low horizon. The tree's have a character and are telling a story about the sky.
I like this one... but perhaps you could have removed the tiny portion of the road?
Cheers
