Photographer's Note
A view of a colourful part of Edinburgh from Arthur's Seat (the hill in the middle of the city). In the foreground are the Dumbiedykes flats with the Royal Mile behind.
New buildings are creeping into the area, which used to house a big brewery, though there are plenty of historic buildings scattered about.

Hi Mr Alastair, this could be a great shot if you cropped out the terrible high rise at the foreground.
The colorful low-rise housing creates a nice rhythmic
pattern and it is very good architecture as well.
(this coming from an architect.) Best, Janos
