Photographer's Note
I pass this Old One (Auld Yin) most days - just up the road - and it continually changes as I fly past.
Every so often I stop for a closer, quieter look which is always worth it.
The yellow is oil seed rape - an escapee from last year's crop, this year it looks like it's barley.
I love the landscape around here & my selection of photos for trekearth reflects this.
The hill in the background is Berwick Law, a volcanic plug looking over the sea, have a look around my photos and you'll piece the jigsaw of the landscape round here together a bit.

Hello, Alastair,
I like this one. Again (my hobby-horse) it looks true-to life and I'm sure you haven't done any great manipulation to the image. There is a lovely contrast between the colours of the foreground and those of Berwick Law behind.
Well done.
Best Wishes,
John.
