Photographer's Note
This was shot last year among a batch I made at Piccadily Circus in London.
The Circus was immediately behind me in this view looking towards Regent Street.
This bus had pulled up very close to where I was set up with the tripod waiting for the traffic lights to go green, when this motorbike suddenly pulled up beside it.
Aperture needed to be at something like, say F/9 (or more, I think) to prevent the glaring headlights from causing lens flare and/or OE. So I quickly captured it - I'll be glad to have your feedback on the result.
In workshop I posted an exposure captured immediately after the bike left - with the bus still in place.
Thanks for looking :)

At f9 and 3 sec, I think it is perfect because everything is very sharp and the frontal light does not blind me. Since the bus was signalling the right turn it is very funny to see the man on the bike waiting well behind it. The BG is also very nice and sharp. Well done.

I like your pictures. Very dynamic. I prefer the one with the bike, with its light shooting into the lens.

Hello Daniel,
I like the low point of view!
The bus adds all the action you need, and in the back the motorbike is waiting...
Attractive night colours as always, and I like the combination of blur and sharpness!

Daniel,
Forget the "subject" you have here...more than that the perspective & the light management gives a colourful experience & for that your shot is to be commended...
SO well timed & aperture, the shot is so clean & sharp.
Cheers,
Prem.

Hi Daniel
The motorbike gives dynamism to the shot. The light has been perfectly handled, and it's a good (and brave) POV. Excellent work which reminds me of home, and nights out of my youth!

Hi Daniel, hhmm one day you will have problems, i mean physicall problems as i see your dangerous POV. You cloth with fluorescent clothes ? ;)
I like this one, 3 seconds of pure acidulated colors, everything is sharp even the moto and the bus, i like the effect on my eyes.
Come on Daniel, let them coming ;)
Excellent

Hi Daniel,
a really gorgeous night shot from an impressive and very well chosen pov. The clarity is excellent and the details are perfectly visible. The composition is fantastic with the biker right in front of you. Great one! Tfs and best wishes.

Hello Daniel,
you love night shots do you?:D
the colors are screaming, it's excellent! I like the white lines reflected on the bus' paint. there is a good atmosphere going on. I might be the one, but I think I prefer the version without the bike. Actually, I was telling myself:"would it be better without the bike?" when I started reading the note...
the colors are the real turn on here. Be careful not too push too far the saturation...we can see some artifacts in the light bottom right.
London as plenty of sinister side streets, do you go there sometimes? Plenty of good night shots to get there...different stories to tell.
Have a nice day,
Marc

Hello Daniel,
you sure love the night and I have to say that you do remarkable work with the colors and lights, very beautiful here, that red! Crisp details, an eye catcher for sure. I definetely prefer this version. Because of the bike, the human element is something I do find important, although not absolutely necessary. It is a suggestion I would like to make, if you don't mind : try to get people from time to time in your shots, even blurred, it looks good, adds to the story. I like the flare here, the proximity of the huge bus and the tiny bike.
Best regards
