Dunluce Castle - Co. Antrim
Dunluce Castle is one of the most extensive ruins of a medieval castle on the island of Ireland. It is located on the edge of a basalt outcropping in County Antrim, Northern Ireland and is accessible via a bridge connecting it to the mainland. It is between Portballintrae and Portrush.

Outstanding image, beautifully composed. The exposure worked very well for the water and you did a great job with the filters. The castle adds an extra point of interest, but the creek is certainly the start of the show here.

Hi Stefhen! It is a spectacular picture! I front see in the background the clouded over sky and silhouettes the ruins and in the first plan the figures of rocks as black seals! Their lines, appear intermediarily as if float in white but with important reception waters, I like this picture and him will place? in my collection? "silhouettes figures outline" see my themes

HI Stephen, your low POV, long exposure and i think some PP to saturate de colors make this a wonderful surreal image. Congratulations for the good work and TFS

Hello Stephen,
Just discovering your spot on TE and realizing that you've been here a while but I've never come across your fantastic landscapes. You are certainly one of the best I've seen on this site, and this latest addition is a stunner. You seem to really find these great locations with so many interesting natural formations to work with, utilizing that whole dynamic of earth, water and sky so well. The darker tones throughout in this photo, I really enjoy as it casts are eerie mood on things that works well with the image of rough and rugged northern Ireland to me...

Hi Stephen,
Your foreground is so strong that the feature castle is almost a secondary component of this shot. The light is held back nicely by our Lee's and again, I like the agressive movement of the water. TFS. Gerald

Hello Stephen,
very nice picture again. The gray clouds in the sky intensify the colour of the stones and the atmosphere seems to me rather gloomy, but powerful.
Bravo
Best wishes

Dear Stephen,
Great picture again. The POV is outstanding! Just one thing about the sky behind the castle. The HDR or photoshop manipulation is obvious. There is a little hollow that won't fool a specialist! Dont forget the windows in your sky manipulation too! Your work is so good that I'm sure you can do better!
Have a nice day!

Hi Stephen
I love this shot once again although your PP work isn't as good as it usually is, i think i would have prefered the castle to be slightly darker/more natural with a little less halo, it kind of stands out in an odd way if you can understand what i mean.
Everything else is 100% amazing though!
This shot i would give about 85% which in my eyes still rates as full marks!

Hi Again Stephen,
This one is typical of your gallery!
FAbulous landscape from Ireland, a very good pov on the Castle at the end plan of your composition.
Colors are fabulous and another time the long exposure time is fabulous with the white colors of the water around the rock.
Very well done!
Best regards,
Olivier

Salut Stephen!
Un myst駻ieux atmosph鑽e, on se croirait un soir d'Alloween avec un ch穰eau hant. Excellent 馗lairage et profondeur d'image. Les rochers en avant-plan sont superbes. Beau travail.

Hello Stephen,
I came across this spectacular shot of Dunluce Castle that you had posted almost to the day two years ago. I remember seeing one of El Greco's masterpieces that has the same haunting atmosphere. I wonder if the great Spanish Renaissance artist actually saw Toledo as you saw County Antrim, or whether he created his version in his imagination. In any event, this is a superlative shot.
Warm regards from Virginia,
Bulent
