Spring in Eedj, a photo from Fars, East

The place is located near a small historic city called Eedj. In spring ,beautiful flowers in different colors(The red ones called"Shaghayegh") are seen in this region and also in some other plains and mountain sides of Iran.

Hi Atousa,
Nice colors in this picture, but if you would have had a higher angle perhaps it would have been better. Very interesting place too.

A very intresting view from Fars again.
Sky color and its clouds position makes beauty double. they are seem to be a sign :)
contrast and frame well choosen + pleaseant colors.

Great shot. The Zagros nature is one of the most unique natural environments in the world but no tourist! Maybe this can help it to survive!!

mountains on both sides are rocky and barely have greenery on...but on contrary center of mountains looks like a 'janaat'(heaven)

It's a beautiful view and very nice compo, with the V of the hills, the contrast of colours and the arrangement of the clouds. Those little wild flowers are wonderful (aren't they poppies).

The name of this place suggests some similarity with Eden and the image gives some impression that this could be this long lost place. I guess you rediscovered it for us at TE, Atousa. The composition with those mountains forming an opening and the red poppies in fg are truly beautiful. I also like the repetitive element of the tree canopies and the clouds in more or less the same shape as the trees.

I love the sense of this one .. Spring contained between this stark stone and bright sky .. the red flowers are tremendous .. My one thought is a point of view as close to the flowers and low (level .. or maybe even underneath them) would make the image speak even more loudly .. beautiful image.
