An Old Village I, a photo from Mazandaran, East

Photographer's Note

My tribute to Martine (ma-tibou) for her "ferlagghia" series.
She inspired me to post this photo for start a series.

"Djavaaher Deh" village is located in Alborz heights, 2200 m above sea level. But it's wonder that the village has 25 Km distance from Caspian Sea.
When I took this photo, thermometer showed 18 degree C and the same time in "Ramsar" (25 Km distance) was 37!(2004,8,8).

The village is more than 2500 years old!!!Yes, more than�

I would like to show you some old rural houses, lanes &� in there, in this part of world with a few shots and then as an alternately posting (hope for all seasons).

Also, this is first photo that I framed for TE :)

Bonjour Mahammad, vue ma galerie tu dois te douter que je vais 駭ormement aimer ta photo de vieux village, j'aime ces endroits un peu triste car souvent d駸ert駸, ces vieilles pierres qui pourraient nous en raconter des choses. Belle r饌lisation. Bravo.

Very interesting almost historical picture, and laso your note. I tried to locate on the map this point. Usually, Mohammad the temperature drop each 1000 feet (304 meters) with 2ｰC. ,maybe some fall winds from higher altitude caused also aditionally this temperature difference.

I love this, Mohammad - great composition and a really interesting subject. Great texture in the buildings and nice contrast with the greens of nature. To be honest I'm not so keen on the colours of your frame but I really like the shot a lot.

Very interesting account from this old village, Mohammad. Good 1/3 - 2/3 division from the way the building are placed in the frame, and nice greenery around. The frame looks nice, too.

Well, this is an old house, not more than 2500 years, but one with nice textures on the walls ? Want to see more of the serie.

Again the excellent green. And such excellent texture in this building. I can feel the cracks and weathering. I like the rising mountain with the trees rather than a sky as a background. But the textures are just outstanding. And the colors, too. Excellent job!

that part of Iran is blessed with greenery, which contrasts sharply with the rest of the country, I like to see this kind of vernacular architecture

A very nice picture. The simplicity of the foreground house and the nice DOF you use make it very interesting. The wall texture is very nicely rendered and I really like the ambient mood that we can feel looking at this old town. Very good work, Mohammad !

Extremely nice composition - I like the trees where you might expect sky... maybe you were a little too generous with the sharpening.
