Resket tower, a photo from Mazandaran, East

Photographer's Note

Resket tower that was built on a steep rocky mountain was built in the year 413 AH Al BAVAND is the burial place of one of the princes. 18 meters high. Environment at the bottom of 14.76 meters. The upper part of the tower between the body and the dome is decorated with Mogharnas and two brick inscription in Kufic and Sassanid Pahlavi line also appears on it. Resket circular tower with a conical roof with an inside diameter of 57.4 meters. The edge of the tower with a double row of brick Mogharnas decorated with motifs decorate the bed. Mogharnas the inscription at the bottom of this magnificent stucco role is to help Kofi row.

C'est bon quelque fois d'entrer dans le d騁ail d'un b穰iment. On ne le fait pas assez souvent. J'aime la forme arrondie de cette tour et les d騁ails graphiques qui offrent de belles textures.

very attractive close up of this elaborately decorated tower. The motifs are so beautiful I wonder if it is an inscription in a foreign alphabet or just a floral motif.
