Farahabad Mosque is a part of Farahabad historical complex that was built during the Safavid period (Shah Abbas I) with the architectural style of Isfahan school. No historical inscription has been found in the building, but its construction is estimated to be around 1616 AD. The Farahabad complex, where Shah Abbas spent parts of his reign, included a mosque, a bridge, and a world-famous palace, of which only the mosque survives due to its popular location. This mosque is located 25 km from Sari and 2 km from the Caspian Sea. Wikipedia

Hello Ali,
The mosque is beautiful and the green garden is also very nice. I like your good composition where the building is placed slightly to the side and the hedges lining the garden form fine diagonals. The photo is well exposed and the colours are very good.

Hello Ali,

You have shown us a very attractive mosque, dominated by a huge arch, with smaller versions repeated on each side; it is in lovely condition.
The f/g garden is a softening contrast to the formality of the mosque.
The photograph is well exposed to give crisp details and natural colours.

Hi Ali,i never been in Iran but this kind of architechture is very similar of what i seen in Uzbekistan, this isn't full of colorful decorations but it's still interesting and nice,useful post well done as usual. Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hi Ali,
Very original shape and design of this mosque. In a way it remionded me a bit the structures from Uzbekistan although with no blue domes.
Nice composition with the lovely garden in the foreground and from the optimal angle here.
