On the way from Damghan to Sari in Kiasar region, there is a place called (Badab Surat) with a travertine stepped spring. We entered a detour about 25 km to see this spring. At the bottom of the mountain, to reach the spring, we had to walk 1 km, it was a hard and muddy road.
....................................................................
(Badab Surat) is an unique travertine in Iran and the shortcomings in the world, located in the village of Arester, Sari. This spring was recorded by the Cultural Heritage Organization in 2008 after Mount Damavand as the second natural heritage of Iran on the list of national works of Iran. The global registration of this dadab has also been the second source of salt water after (Pamkollah) Turkey. To achieve this place, start from the road (Kiasar), which will start the city connector of Sari to Damghan. Prior to entering the main road, be sure to ensure the amount of gasoline and car health and consumer items such as water and nutrition. Wikipedia

Hello Ali,
This is a very interesting view which reminds me of terraced rice fields in east Asia. The snow tells me a different story. It's an attractive photo, well exposed and with fine reflections in the wet areas.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Ali,
An interesting place that I did not know about. The terraces have a red-brown colour because of iron in the minerals. The snow in the background forms a strong contrast with the foreground. The detail in the photo shows us that the larger terraces are made of many very small terraces. Good composition.

Hello Ali,
I've never heard of this place and it's the first time I see a picture of it.
A very unusual landscape that seems to be situated on a high elevation.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Ali,
This is a spectacular scenery! The travertine terraces are so impressive. I had a chance to see some of those in Turkey. Here you have a different color of them.
Nice perspective. Interesting effect with the sun reflected in them in the foreground. I love these extraordinary rock formations.
In addition to that we see snow covered mountains in the distance. Ity is like a combination of two different worlds in one photo. Beautiful place I would love to see it some day!

HI Ali
It so happens that I'll be posting photos of the very different travertines at Pamukkale within the next couple of weeks. These ones have an amazing red/brown colour. A great photo with the snow on the hills behind.
cheers

Hello Ali,
The terraced fields look great with some very nice and warm colours, which stand out well from the cold and snowy background. Very well captured from the side.

Hello Ali
Looks a bit like the Pamukkale travertine terraces in sw Turkey but without the calcite coatings. A high alpine location with snow and ice evident. Tfs!
