Astpanvs Cathedral, or Cathedral Church of the Holy Astfanvs Iranian Armenians is important that the importance of being Qrhklysa. This East Azarbaijan province 17 km to the West Bank town of Julfa and 3 km south of the Aras River Local Trout called Vank (Red Monastery) is located.
This church, built in the ninth century AD, but was damaged due to earthquake, which was rebuilt in the Safavid era.
All the church grounds in the heart of nature, green mountains and the border region between Julfa, and Azerbaijan has been.
The church, revered by Christians and almost all branches of the Christian religions, but in fact Gregory
(Grigor Illuminator followers) who are living in Armenia belongs.
In a day of the year thousands of Armenians coming together at this point to the pilgrimage, rituals and rites of their own instead.

They are doing some fantastic work on this beautiful church. Very fine details and textures here and the colors and lighting are superbly presented. Clarity is stunning to the point where you can see everything clearly and precisely, giving your POV and welcomed feel, great job Ali!!

Salam Ali,

The exquisite architecture of the medieval cathedral is well conserved. The cross section of the cupola appears to be 14 or 16-sided, a true marvel. The colors in the stone are warm and earthy, set off beautifully against the sky. As usual, your multilingual note with ten languages is more impressive than the Rosetta Stone with only three languages.

The architecture of this church is special combined by nice earh tone color and well set off by the blue sky. Perfectly composed this way revealing the detail so amazingly. The side lighting and mild shadows have further accentuated the depth. Sincerely you have made a great effort in this but as an architectural shot, the scaffold spoiled the show but as a record shot, it works. Well done

Hello Ali,
a well framed symmetrical composition of this splendid dome. The symmetry and the view are interrupted by the scuffolding necessary for the restoration works. It is disturbing but can't hide the impressive elaborate details of the architecture that have been captured so clearly in the strong sunlight. I like the natural tones and textures and the contrasts that are essential for the appreciation of the image. Well done and thank you!

Wonderful image, the dome of this church is a work of art, besides its original architectural style and those beautiful ornaments of the walls, are ideal me .... I love it.
