The view from the back wall of the main building of the church.

Stepanous old church, or the Church of the Holy Astfanvs second Armenian church in Iran is important that the Church is important. The building at 17 km West of the town of Julfa in the province and 3 km south bank of the Aras River in a place called Rainbow Cathedral (Red Monastery) is considered.
The church was built in the ninth century AD, but due to the earthquake damaged and was rebuilt in the Safavid era.
All campus church in the heart of the mountains and the green nature of Julfa border region of Azerbaijan located.
The church is revered by all Christians and almost all religions but also limb Gregory Christians (followers of St. Gregory the Illuminator) residing in Armenia belongs.

Hello Ali,

This type church is my unknown, also Iran has one more religions, than I thought.
These halo gives a special character on the picture.
The facade is a nice old architecture..
Your picture is very well taken and lovely presentation with pleasant colours.
Composition and colours make these picture very attractive.

This church looks uniquely designed with its own style and colour which easily blends into the arid surroundings. But it's a charming architecture so well preserved, Imho, the lens flare is more of a distraction and has somewhat taken attention away. Well done, Congrats
