Museum of Azerbaijan, Iran's second largest historical museum
History Museum of Azerbaijan as the second National Museum of Iran after Tehran is known located near the Blue Mosque.This museum belongs to the pre-Islamic and Islamic periods are exhibited. The Azerbaijan museum officially opened in 1341 ( 1962). Many of the pieces on display have been found from excavations throughout Azerbaijan Province, with the oldest piece dating from the 5th millenium BC. The items are displayed in cases in chronological order.

Hi Mehrdad
A nice sculpture and a nice museum piece. This caught my eye add there is a sculpture in wicklow here in Ireland that looks very similar to this, it is positioned on the side of a major road into Dublin. Interesting post
