The setting sun is just the beginning!

once the sun has disappeared, a new window of opportunity begins, there is still plenty of usable light left! Twilight is the period of time in between day and night, and is caused by refraction and the suns rays scattering from the atmosphere.

Getting hand held images during this time is pretty much impossible, and a tripod is strongly suggested. During this phase of twilight, there is still some usable light to make for very interesting pictures but night will be approaching quickly.

I used manual setting , F8 with a tripod & 1/15 exposure time .

Hi Ali,
very nice colors and a nice after-sunset. Perhaps you could have taken the reed a bit bigger in your pic to make more contrast with the back?

Beautiful twilight colors, and the distance between the silhouettes of the plants give a very good depth to the image! The reflection on the puddle gives even more beauty to the scene! Wonderful job!

Hello Ali,
A great view over the fields from a wonderful, low POV. The colours of the evening sky are very beautiful and so are the small horizontal clouds.
