While visiting the tomb of the epic poet "Ferdowsi", I met this man. He was responsible for the cleanliness of the tomb. He was explaining the epics of Ferdowsi Shahnameh to two people who were visiting, and after giving the explanation, he started reading the poems of Ferdowsi Shahnameh with a clear and melodic voice while holding the broom. He attracted the attention of the visiting crowd and most of them, including my wife, started recording videos of him. After the performance, I photographed him. The people of Toos are knowledgeable and literate people, and most of them memorize Shahnameh poems. I got help in choosing between black and white from two female colleagues, who chose color, but in the end I shared black and white as the main post. Two more views in the workshop

An excellent portrait of this old man, he looks straight into your camera, but why HER eyes? (it should be his eyes).

Hello Ali,
This is a very good portrait. I like the original colour version too, but I think the B&W version makes a stronger impression among the thumbnails. His eyes are really very intense as he is looking at you with great self-confidence. The other WS is a good complement, but I would also have liked to see him holding his broom while reciting the poems.

This man has very expressive and enigmatic eyes that hint at a complex personality who has experienced many ups and downs in his lifetime. Excellent head and shoulders portrait with good sharpness tonal range and framing. Tfs!
