Photographer's Note
This picture was taken in the Judean desert in an offraod trip.
The Judean desert placed between Jerusalem and the dead sea (sort of), it had an improtant roll in the Jewish history.
In the end of the trip, close to sunset, I saw these layers of mountains atraight ahead, it was the opposite side to the sun and the dirty sky helped me a lot to get this scene.
I used my tele lens to get this landscape picture in 240 mm (it is like 384 after the dig. factor), I've been waiting to this picture a lot and I didn't miss it.
I used shade WB to get this warm tones.
This is the full frame picture.

Almost 10 levels or layers, that's what I count here. The warm tones are fantastic. The desert is beautiful. Very well done.

Beautiful depth. The simplicity of the composition and the soft warm colours create a powerful mood. Well done.

Yes this sure is a photo to be happy about. Amazing light and colors, and wonderful effect of the soft hills ever so slowly fading towards the background. Well titled, too (I hate to admit it but I can't instantly think of a song title that would fit ;-)

A very nice picture of layers with warm tones. I like the color of the desert just before sunset. I like your post processing. The only thing I'd change is crop from the bottom and from the top in order to add more attention to the layers, see my WS. Very well done, Elroyie.

Another grand shot! I love the layers of hills extending to infinity. Colors between sky and hills are harmonious. Framing is well-proportioned too.
Notes are rich and interesting.
Well Done!

Great shot. The lighting really gives this an extra barren feel. Just so large and empty. And the layers really adds to the distance. The blurry foreground is great. It makes me feel like being lost out in the middle of nowhere. Hoping to see an oasis or settlement over the ridge only to come up and see miles and miles more of the same. Excellent job.
