Photographer's Note

This country is every bit as strange as one might expect. With more than half the resident population ex-pats lured by relatively high wage to serve the nationals, it's a generally easy life for native Kuwaitis. On a short business trip, I got the impression there was little to do apart from wonder the malls and try the restaurants. Maybe old hands can suggest more interesting excursions.

Hello Richard,
I think you found another thing to do in Kuwait City: take photos. :-) I like the hazy view of the skyline in the background. The two men are also perfectly-placed in the frame. It's been a while since I've seen you here on TE. Welcome back. :-)

If nothing else, there is always photography as this great composition, perfectly suited for a black and white, proves. The two men in traditional garb walking in the frame provide the perfect anchor point from where the eye wanders towards the distant city.

Hello Richard, Nice to see you after a long break. This walk with the view of all this business district seems an interesting one. And with these sheikh-like men even more. In the miniature it seemed to me like the picture from the trip in cosmos. interesting composition.
