from the hills overlooking İznik Lake..

"Iznik, formerly known as Nicea, lies at the eastern tip of Lake Iznik, south of Izmit. Originally an important Roman and Byzantine town, it fell to the Seljuks in 1078 and subsequently to the ottomans in 1331. In the town center the ruins of the St.Sophia Cathedral, the seat of the first Eucomenical Council of 325, evoke images of convening bishops and clergy. In the 16th and 17th centuries, ﾝznik was the center of exquisite ceramic ware production which has made such an important decorative contribution to mosques and palaces throughout Turkey."

Whether or not this picture may be partly arranged by you, it's a very fine composition with the two rocks on each side of the road and many interesting details between them. Good foreground and fine colours.

A well composed shot Fusun! I like how a line parallell to the horison follows the man, passes the dog, the truck, the heard and ends at the peak across the valley. At the same time we are driven to follow the direction of his eyes (that we canｴt see but nevertheless) and end up at the same place. Great convergence of real lines and imaginary ones.

Your not posting at large scale, but when you post it's are well thought images with high impact. Always strong in the colour and in well thought compositions. There are great lines here in this landscape. The man looking over the the landscape to his sheeps with the mountain on the other side...what a great balance. The dog and the car are very nice details what makes this image even stronger...great..!!!

I don't recognize Iznik vicinity, surprised by the "high altitude feel" about it ! ... and should definitely return there and spend some more time around the lake, this view is so marvelous !
