Photographer's Note
This run-down Art Nouveau building on the corner of Hamidiye and Mimar Kemalettin (Architect Kemalettin) Avenues caught my eye. An internet search revealed that this is Vlora (or Flora) Han. Han means, among other things, a building constructed for business purposes, such as an office complex. Here is what Atlas Obscura says about Vlora Han:
認lora Han (also spelled Vlora Han) was built at the beginning of the 20th century with a rather mundane purpose: to house offices. Its beautiful architecture highlights the western influences that crept into the city at a time when the Ottoman court was enthralled with the Art Nouveau styles spreading throughout European cultures. Many of these buildings are the work of Italian architect Raimondo D但ronco.
In my search, I also came across a Master痴 Thesis proposing a plan to restore this building presented to the Faculty of Istanbul Technical University, Institute of Science and Technology, Graduate Program in Restoration.
The workshop contains a view of this building from the Hamidiye Avenue (continuation of Bankers Ave.).

Atlye bu binanın Hamidiye Caddesi'nden (Bankacılar Caddesi'nin devamı) bir grnmn i軻rir.

hello Murat,
Even as its grandeur days are over, the facade looks attractive and full of elements to interest with.
Hope a renovation would regain those beauties.

Hello Murat,
It is a great pity that this beautiful building has been allowed to deteriorate to such an extent. Even in this condition, it still retains a certain charm and elegance. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Murat,
A wonderful close-up of the building with its many wonderful decorative details. Even though it isn't in perfect shape, it still looks very nice, especially in this fine sunlight. Well spotted and captured.

Hi Murat
This would suits B&W perfectly. It shows the architectural style well worn with years of history on its back. I love the way you saw this - stood back and crop, allowing the grittiness and deep textures to peep through dominating the frame. Great shot, Congrats
Best wishes

hello Murat,
With those 2 circular sculptures below resembling wheels, it look like a gypsy caravan or even a wild west stage coach! I bit of tlc and a few coats of paint and it would look almost new. Tfs!
