Photographer's Note
On my walk from the Golden Horn Metro Bridge, I came across Ahi ヌelebi Mosque as I got close to Eminn. Not wanting to take off my shoes, I just took a peep at the interior of the mosque from its outer gate. Having just read about the history of the mosque, I wish I had gone in.
The mosque was built around A. D. 1500, commissioned by Ahi ヌelebi Mehmed bin Tabip Kemal Ahi Can Tebrizi (Gentleman Brother Mehmed, son of Dear Brother Physician Kemal of Tebriz). Ahi ヌelebi was the surgeon general during the reign of Bayezid II and Selim the Resolute. The well-known Ottoman explorer Evliya ヌelebi, was commissioned, in a dream, by the Prophet Mohammed to travel in this mosque.
The overall view of the mosque is depicted in the workshop. In some records, it is shown as a work of Sinan the Architect. It was restored in the 1990s.

Caminin genel grnm atlyede tasvir edilmiştir. Bazı kayıtlarda Mimar Sinan'ın eseri olarak gsterilmektedir. 1990'larda restore edildi.

The mosque interior well shown with good light inside, the chandelier made a nice object to draw attention at first look. The WS pic. is a nice complementary to the area.

I saw these same carpets, with different colors in india. nice patterns of architecture with simple lines, I liked the drawings in the ceiling and you reflected ahead.it would be perfect without these modern objects.
take care

Hello Murat,
Good light management reveals the details of the interior to best effect. I like the presence of the lamp, which nicely counterbalances your reflection.

Hello Murat,
Great photo of the entrance to the mosque. The symmetry is very nice and I like the subdued light underneath the arches and vaults in combination with the white ceiling and the orange bricks. I suppose that's you in the reflection too, great inclusion!
