Photographer's Note
This is the view of Sultan Ahmed Mosque (Blue Mosque) on our way out of Hagia Sophia. Sultan Ahmed was undergoing renovations, as one can infer from one of its minarets surrounded by scaffolding.
The workshop contains two other quick snapshots from the outer narthex on our way out of the building. These photos complete my Hagia Sophia series. I think I will take a break from Istanbul before I move on to the rest of my photos from Sultanahmet.

Well placed the double minarets through the tree and edifice.
Contrasting light and shadows parts well managed.

Hello Murat,
It's a nice view towards the Blue Mosque and it's well framed by a corner of the Hagia Sophia and a tree. On my first visits to Istanbul I used to stay in a budget hotel in the narrow street on the right side of this. It was a convenient location but now it's gone and the street is completely changed.

Gert

Hello Murat, Nice view of the Blue Mosque dome. I have visited maybe fifteen mosques in Istanbul. Sometimes I was ALONE in a mosque. With no one around, I could lie down on my stomach on the soft carpet and admire all the symmetry and beauty of the place. Looking forward to more photos from Sultan Ahmet. Best regrads MAlgo

Hallo Murat,
A beautiful view of the mosque, which was lit by a pleasant sunlight. It creates a nice contrast with the shaded foreground with lots of pleasant green tones as well.

Hi Murat, even if probably no one reads them, I suggest you correct the notes in the WS, Fossati's name is Giuseppe and you spelled it incorrectly, however there are no problems, who knows how many laughs you will have had reading my school English. ..ahaha .. excellent post, interesting again this time, also here we have a beautiful scaffolding that accompanies us everywhere in our travels, great capture also of the sarcophagus that contained the remains of the empress Irene in an impossible light. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hi Murat
I found both of these mosques more impressive than any that I saw in Cairo. The fusion of Byzantine and Ottoman styles has given these impressive buildings their own unique character. Tfs!

Hello Murat,
Apparently not the most ideal time to photograph the Blue Mosque. But in a city with numerous monuments, there is a setback that something is under the scaffolding during the visit.
Your WS pictures are a nice completion of your series on the Hagia Sophia.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Murat,
So this is a sneak preview of what you will show us later. Yes these two amazing temples are the main reason I would like to visit Istanbul but of course I am aware that there is so much more.
Nice point of view, very well done,
M
