Hi Deniz,
You use B&W with perfect sense. Fantastic contrast and sihouettes.
I found something new in your photo (maybe that's new just for me?). The extremely sharp background. Probably it just comes from the need of the fast exposure time, but anyway it gives me special feelings and it's also important making the photo more dynamic.

Hi Deniz, wonderful shot. Love the silhouettes and the deep, strong contrasts. The vertical jets make a great backdrop, almost like prison bars. I see no mushroom cloud though - just a huge, inaccessible birdbath!

this is way beyond photography. This is visual poetry and I have to agree with Luis comments regarding the sensibilty. Astounding! So, besides photography you spend your time with "belle" literature?
It is really difficult to write a meaningful critique here even after minutes of silent observation of the shot and the reading several time the verses ...

Great shot! Due to the b&w the pigeons do not make me feel hope or optimism. In the contrary: The look more like the forerunners of something bad or evil. I like this depressing, dark mood a lot though.

I find great diffculty trying to understand this thumbnail until I see the photo. It is amazing how this B&W contrast is so strong.

How did you shoot in such situation, Deniz? Even with f/5 and 1/2000s? It will be great to share how you came about to shoot this.
