ok, I know i like the photo, the scene, the uniqueness of it....I just don't quite understand what i'm viewing? What is this?

I know its a window outdoors, but how did it get this pattern on it? is it frozen ice? looks beautiful in its own way.

It should have been very cold to get the whole window with some ice "paintings". I regret you don't change the shape of the window to get a rectangle by post processing
