Open Sesame!, a photo from Nevsehir, Central Anatolia

Photographer's Note

In the "backside" of Uchisar, I noticed these two rocks that looked "complementary". As if, once upon a time, were part of a single conical rock, that suddenly opened like a secret gate to the tales of the Orient.

TECHNICAL INFO:
I used a 2X converter on my 70-200mm lens, that's why the focal length is 265mm.

fine view from up above giving a totally different view on the houses within.
It looks like some giant broke this rock open and the houses were expelled.

i have to admitt, i'm very confused with what i'm looking at here.
it looks like a house of somekind, with windows in the secondary rock in the BG...no?

A fabulous work of art. technically excellent - with all the elements crystal sharp and good composition. But what makes t such a strong picture is the intriguing nature of the subject matter - a photo which keeps the viewer asking questions, and coming back to have another look: where does the natural environment stop and the human construction start?

Η απόσταση και το σημείο απ' όπου τραβήχτηκε η φωτογραφία μας δίνει πολύ καλή θέαση.
Η εστίαση είναι άψογη. Μου αρέσει πολύ ο τίτλος που έδωσες!
