Flying in Cappadocia, a photo from Nevsehir, Central Anatolia

Photographer's Note

There are about ten hot-air balloons flying in the heart of Turkey every morning. The place named Cappadocia, one of the most incredible landscapes in Turkey.
Cappadocia was the center of the Hittite Empire, later an independent kingdom, then a vast Roman province mentioned in the Bible.
It's one of the best place to fly in the balloons, but it costs about $200, so I only watched and took pictures:)

Wow, great shot. Its so clear and crisp! Its so original and I love the shadows of the rocks and of course the beautiful balloon floating around in the background. Well done.

very beautiful picture of the place Natalia..I never flied with the ballon either but I have seen many picture of Cappadoce and this is very clean and true..
as a small addition to your note ; Cappadoce is the first hiding place of Christians and it is said that there are 365 churches for them to pray in one every day without being noticed..

Very good picture and very interesting capture, the baloon is very suit to the shapes in the bottom of the frame, the shapes alone are very interesting.

Beautiful composition, with the ballon close to the corner. The contrast in rocks is also very nice.

PS: I wouldn't fly into it even if I was paid US$200 8-)

Grandiose ... j'appr馗ie beaucoup les teintes dor馥s du premier plan, le contraste entre les aiguilles rocheuses pointues et la rondeur de la mongolfi鑽e font un bel effet sur une m麥e photo. F駘icitations d'avoir saisi ce moment ...
j'avoue que j'aurais bien aim� faire une telle prise de vue lors de mon r馗ent voyage dans cette fascinante Cappadoce.

Really nice work. Good dof and contrast. It is rare to find a shot of a hot air baloon with such interesting forground/background. Also the colors of the baloon match the colors of the landscape.
