Photographer's Note
There are so many pictures on TE about Christmas time, so what to do: it is also my contribution to this theme.
I was very surprised when I saw the shop window in the mall of Dubai with the Christmas items. But as it was explained to me, In Dubai there live and work 200 nationalities. Among them, there are people celebrating Christmas. Quite strange, I have seen mosques in Dubai and a small Shiva temple but no churches, pagodas and so on.

Hello Malgo,
It's interesting to see so many Christmas decorations in Dubai. It's good that they allow different customs; all the expats living there can still have a festive Christmas. I'm surprised the snowman in the back can survive in such a hot desert climate. ;-) Your photo does contain most of this Christmas tree, so I will add it to my theme for this year. Merry Christmas to you! :-)

Hi Malgo,
Christmas is popular in many countries. The point of view is showing the details of the Christmas decorations. The light is giving good colors output. Have a nice day.

Hi Malgo
It seems that commercialism has meant that Christmas is now celebrated just about everywhere. A good photo of this display and a merry Christmas to you.

Hello Malgo,
I suppose this could have been taken in Stockholm a few years ago, but I trust that it's from Dubai. It's more strange than really beautiful. I'm not so crazy about these Christmas decorations, but I guess this photo also teaches me something about the world.
Kind regards,
Gert

Witaj Malgorzata To respond to your note: This stunning view
of VEILED old men wearing beards is quite unusual! But as you mentioned, it's Dubai so we will have to get used to this new fashion!! Many interesting festive items seen in your picture
Merry Christmas!

Indii... :-)
Pozdrawiam serdecznie

Hello Malgo, I was surprised to read that this was from Dubai, but of course your note explains why there would be a shop window display dressed in this way.
The fir trees look a little out of place, and the snowman! But if that is what people want, then why not?
Best wishes for the Christmas season.
Kind regards, Jean.

the other religions are hidden I guess, making cerimonies in houses or discrete places. in fact curious elements in a muslim country and the touch of snow is strange too. funny dolls.
take care

Hello Malgo,
I wonder if there are any locals that object to such decorations. I know, in Turkey, many fundamentalists Muslims speak out against even New Year's celebrations. 👍🏻👍🏻
