Photographer's Note

I took this shot down by the lake where my parents live. Knowing that sunset can be a fun time to take pictures, I happened upon this scene just in the nick of time. It's safe to say that this moment lasted only for about 15-20 minutes as the sun had just disappeared (though it was a cloudy day) and the light above the snow-covered dock hadn't yet fully warmed up - hence the pinkish glow, where fully charged it's more orange. It reminded me how important it is to at least carry around my digital camera to catch those scenes no one will believe you saw.
