Create mood with hairspray, a photo from Quebec, Central

Photographer's Note

Yesterday I posted a picture taken using petroleum jelly on a skylight filter inspired by Robert Farber techniques. This shot was taken in Old Quebec this time using a skylight coated with hairspray. No photoshop postprocessing was done at all.

I pushed at ISO 800 to add noise to the picture and overexposed by +1. I think the result is satisfying, now will have to test it on better subjects, I can't wait to try it next summer in the woods.

If anybody know of other similar techniques to create "impressionnist"-like effects, I'd be very happy to hear about you.

J'aime bien ta photo. Je ne connaissais pas cette m騁hode que tu d馗ris dans ta note explicative. ﾇa donne un effet de peinture � ta photo.
