My favorite place, a photo from Quebec, Central

Photographer's Note

My favorite place near home in all seasons but particulary in spring when nature is coming alive. Ile de la Visitation park on the north shore of Montreal is a linear park including an island where it is nice to have a walk, a picnic, ride your bike, or simply relax. I went there today, hoping to see the herons but they don't seem to have arrived yes. So I just enjoyed the tranquility of the place, especially on a weekday when there is less people.

I guess that what I like the most about this photo is that it tells us something about the person who took it - I created a theme "my favorite spot" and added it to it.

Dear Nina,
I really can imagine, that this is a favourite place, it is beautiful.
The comopsition is nice with the tree and its reflection and the stone in the left.

J'aime beaucoup cet endroit aussi. Je me reconnais dans ce que vous dites. J'aime aussi ces lieux calmes, verts, o� le silence n'est troubl� que par les oiseaux.
Cette demi-ombre du premier plan cr鳬 une sorte de complicit�, on vous devine vous promenant sous les arbres � l'abri des regards.
Je lis � l'instant les autres critiques, et je pense qu'il e皦騁� impossible de capturer cette ambiance sans "br璉er" un peu le ciel, la diff駻ence d'exposition est trop grande.

Although we are only a few hours by road apart, Montreal always gets its leaves about2 to 3 weeks earlier than Quebec City. I can see why this is a favorite spot for you to appreciate the renewal of another summer season.I like how the leaning branch provides a reflection that resembles cupped hands.

And this a very beautiful place indeed! You photo almost look like a painting because the leaves and the grass look like brush strokes. This is very nice. Also like the composition with the rock adding the extra detail needed. Also like how the branch direct our eyes to it.

Good colors and details. Only think it's a bit oversharpened but nothing too serious.

I can see why this is a favorite place of yours, it oozes tranquility. I Like the whole of it. Just maybe, if you gave a bit more spce on the top, to include the top of the trees fully, and a sliver of sky.
