Photographer's Note
The streets of Lacombe are some of the prettiest in Alberta IMO. Beautifully restored old buildings and lots of character. This was taken on a poor day for photography but I hope you can enjoy this view anyway.
I will be flying to Vancouver tomorrow and will be away about a week.

Hello Karen,
A good perspective on this interesting and rather elegant architecture. You have chosen a good time with not so many cars about to spoil the view. I like the rich red tones of the buildings, which make a nice contrast with the pale blue sky.

HI Karen,
This looks like a typical Western town, a very pretty street scene. I looked up Lacombe on Google Maps, but unfortunately their street views were not applicable here. But a nice town all the same.
Kind regards
Gunnar

Karen. I almost passed bur on second glance I now think this is a great composition . I think it would be better if the road to the distance was more focused but nevertheless this is superb with the road so long and narrowing in the bg and the color and detail in the fg.

Hello Karen,
This street is bordered of buildings of which the low height is amplified by the very broad street. I like the framing and the visual angle of largest of the buildings, on the right. It is a beautiful street and especially a very beautiful photograph, carried out well. Cheer.
Have a nice day

It seems like a wide street for such a quiet town. The building on the right looks very interesting and it makes a good starting point for looking down the long street. There are halos around the straight lines, so I think you may have over-sharpened.

Hello Karen -
This is a nice image showing one of the prairie towns and the prairie in the BG. I like the long straight road leading the eye into and through the image. I don't think it was that poor of day but the timing of the image could have been better. (Early morning or late afternoon works the best.) There are too many halos in the image not to comment that it appears to be over sharpened.
Thank you for sharing.

Hi Karen,
Lots of charachter to these old brownstones seen in this proud Great Plains town.
The cloudsless blue sky really makes that corner building stand out.

Hello Karen,
My wife lived in this little city. However small town life wasn't for her! Interesting architecture but the image seem very soft. I think the focus wasn't there when you shot it. Good point of view though. Thanks Karen :-)

C'est bien r饌lis et j'aime bien l'ambiance qui se d馮age du clich. Dommage pour la qualit de l'image qui semble un peu manquer de d馭inition.
