Photographer's Note

Anvil Island in Howe Sound, on the road between Vancouver and Whistler. This was taken on a very low tide, which reveals all of the rocks which are normally hidden. This is at a place called Porteau Cove, which is popular place for scuba diving. There are some ships sunk in the area for the divers to look at (when they are underwater) and some great mountain scenary (when they are above water). The west coast of Canada is a good place for diving because of the abundance of marine life, and the normally clear waters. This being Canada, it goes without saying that the water is very, very cold!
