Hello Karen,
Sorry to hear about your back. Hope it will heal soon. This view is pretty. I truly miss the beaches of the tropics but the ones in BC seem very attractive as well. Good perspective with the blue background creating contrast with the grey sand. Thanks Karen :-)

Hello Karen,
I like the use of the vertical format and the low point of view, which emphasises the patterns in the sand. Lovely tonal contrast between beach and the gorgeous blue sky. The green umbrella adds an additional splash of colour.

Hi Karen.
Hope your back is making recuperative progress!
Your picture is a lovely one. I like the well defined wavy ripples in the sand, and the contrast they make with the wonderful gradient in the blue sky. The umbrellas make an eye-catching focal point against the backdrop of the distant blue mountains. I think the inclusion of the grass/weeds was a good idea, too. Nice work.

Andrew

Bonjour Karen
Un cadrage vertical qui laisse une large partie au sable et l'oeil va bien chercher le spectacle de l'arri鑽e plan.
Bonne journ馥

Hi Karen,
Another fantastic shot from the west coast with the vivid blue sky and silhouetted mountains contrasting so vividly with the swirling sands of the beach.
The vertical format works very well here.

Hello Karen,
How sad that your back is still creating problems for you. It is a very dibilatating complaint.
The low pov on your shot captures good textures and patterns of the sand making an interesting f/g which contrasts well with the smooth blues and upright mountains in the b/g.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Karen and welcome back! I hope you had a great time this summer, besides that back injury (Rodeo?). I wish that everything will be allright with your health, as soon as possible!
Excellent photo, unusual choice to leace so much space to the sand, but it results a great composition and framing! Flawless light managment, beautiful colours!

Hello Karen,
This is an unusual shot, giving 2/3 of the frame to the sand, and 1/3 to the sky, and inversion of the usual order. But it is effective, and a good experiment.
Warm regards. (I hope your back is on course for full recovery.)

Hello Karen,
Not so often we see beach images from Canada!
I like the composition with the footprints in the sand leading to the water, the blue blue water surrounded by the familiar mountains...
Greetings,
