Photographer's Note
This is the exquisite view from the summit of Cirque Peak, one of the more accessible summits in the Canadian Rockies. My two friends and I left Calgary at 4:30 am, started hiking at 7:30 am, and were still the third, fourth, and fifth people to summit (in addition to a couple who started up before us but didn't summit). When we came down, there were probably close to 30 people at various points on the slopes. It's a justifiably popular peak.
The large Sphinx-looking mountain in this picture is Dolomite Peak. At its feet is lovely Lake Katherine. To the left are a number of unnamed tarns near Dolomite Pass (not in the picture). In the distance are all sorts of peaks whose names I don't know. And this was just one of many views from the top. Definitely a summit I'd do again.

Hello Clark ,
This amazing moutain panorama was a great reward after the hard climbing . It looks like a little the Dolomites in Italy . But i can see that a summit is named Dolomite Peak .
