Photographer's Note
Mexico City -- the immensity of this city cannot be expressed in a few paragraphs. For here, suffice it to say "es magnifico." For a more detailed understanding, seek out David Lida's "First Stop in the New World."
This is Calle Madero, a wonderful pedestrian walkway that stretches from the Zocalo to the Palacio de Bellas Artes. Like any large city, the varieties of people and lifestyles are impressive. Here, everyone seems to be on a mission, trying to take care of their business before the weekend (this was a Friday about noon).
This was shot with an older iPhone and I will confess (it is probably obvious) that this shot has had a lot of PP -- mostly to balance the sunlit and shadowed parts of the scene. I welcome your input on what could have been done better.
Viva Mexico!

Hi Russ!
This photo jumped off the screen for me, I love its vibrancy! This is, for me, a different look at Mexico than what I'm used to seeing, I absolutely love it and can see why you were drawn to capture it. I especially love all the mini stories within stories happening in it and feel I could gaze at it for quite some time and still be finding something new. Thanks for sharing,
Kristin

Thank you for your 舛alle Madero, DF picture captured with your older iPhone! The fascinating Mexican city and its streets and the pedestrian walkway (on Friday noon on a mission to take care of their business) are well composed with vibrant colors.
