Photographer's Note

This shot is from inside one of the many weird and wonderful structures in the Jungle Park of Las Pozas. I have a few other photos of this surrealist痴 dream on here if you care to look at them to get a fuller idea of this wonderful place in the Mexican jungle. I liked this shot in particular as this was a more built up area of the park that from this angle could have been in the middle of any town of city but for the large jungle leaves almost peering around the corner and down the steps. This park really is a wonderful place, even now although a little faded since construction began in the 1940s it still is very unique.
This photo was quite challenging and is a composite of 3 RAW conversions (the bright outside, the leaves and top of steps and the darker foreground) of different exposures put back together into one HDR image to create a photo that matches what the eye saw at the time, it was quite tricky. Other than this there was not much done, just blending of the layers and some levels to help the layers match.
Feed back is more than welcome, as I am rather new to HDR images and would like to hear what people think.
