Times they so change. And scratched glass just isn't pretty.
You can't tell the kids that; they will 'get up' at all cost. Replacing a window costs thousands - buffing a tag is so much easier. Nicking Buntlack ain't easy - neither is an assault on a train yard. So glass windows get scratched to pieces, with unsightly graffiti..
What strikes me most about your picture is not the graf. It's not these unsightly inartistic indentations, for they are just territory stakes. It's the way you captured the passengers view, ever-feeling the abstract rays passing through the carriage windows while on the way to somewhere.
Crossing boundaries and borders, and on rail roads far from home.
A blinding striking image, such beautiful light and composition.
Thanks for sharing.....
