Photographer's Note
Another view of the facade further east reveals even more neglect. It appeared to me like an old big smile revealing all the broken teeth. Something Cristina saw in the previous post.
I just really liked how this view merged a few layers together. The interior, the facade, the electric poles and the grass and street. All sort of jumbled together in similar states of being.
This will be the last of these modern ruins for a while. At least until my schedule clears up again. And hopefully by then the weather will have left winter completely behind.

I must say I like the title. I find this type of neglect fascinating such as the rolling metal door close to my left side. On day it is open next day it's closed and what becomes of those who closed it. These last few photos you've posted make my out of control imagination work non-stop.
This as your other photos is great, but I particularly like the shadows cast on the building by the electric poles and various objects. My only minor suggestion and I hope you don't offend easily, would be to clone out the yellow hydrant tops. They look too clean for the rest of the capture.
Like an old man, the tales this building could tell......
Wonderful photo, and good title.

You have filled the frame very well, Paul. I like the way some windows on the left give great reflections, in contrast to the 'black holes' on the right. For a ruin it is very colourful and the blue sky in the top right corner is a nice touch. Well done.

I like the derelict nature of the shot, the way the details all add to give this impression. Nothing lasts forever.

Tristesse et d駸olation ! L'image rend bien l'abandon et le b穰iment qui perd toute dignit. L'angle est parfaitement choisi pour mettre en valeur ce sourire perdu !
Tr鑚 bien fait Paul.
Sadness and desolation! The image returns well the abandonment and the building which loses any dignity. The angle is perfectly selected to emphasize this lost smile! Very well done Paul.

How decrepid can a building get?! Again a very nice shot with a fine diagonal composition. The rich details provide a very fine dish for my eyes to feast on: the skewed poles, the broken shutters and glass. Superb, Paul.

The closer we get - the more depressing details are revealed. Too me it looks like the total waste. Your picture is good, almost excellent, and your serie has been well done and informative - but I don't like it. It creates an uncomfortable feeling in me - a feeling of sadness - it's really like a broken ravaged smile!
And only really great photography is capable of arousing feelings, so... ;o)

Indeed a well explained shot and well needed as it really shows it ruins and what it look when you get closer.

There is a ragged texture and feel to this modern ruin. As a scrolled down the screen, past the blue sky, the broken smile became more apparent. There is so much to upon which to focus and pause for a while, but its not too busy that the viewer gets lost. The repeating pattern moves the view on through the frame. Great series.
