The simplicity of the building (door, window, chimney) works really well to emphasize the minimilist aspects of this winter shot.

Certainly good in color, this could be a painting as a result of the smooth textures captured.
Dropping the brightness a few points softens it even further, removing a little of the snow burn feel.
Still very nice though.
