Photographer's Note
This is one of the many icons of New York city. I have always loved photos of the bridge but actually visiting in 2009 exceeded all expectations. The bridge was built between 1867 and 1883 by John Roebling and was the largest suspension bridge in the world when it was built. Needless to say I took loads of photos of it (some of which I may upload). Hope you like it.
