Photographer's Note
A throwback to our trip two years ago to New York City. The night before this shot, we had spent sunset and blue hour in the park between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, in DUMBO, Brooklyn. I loved the view so much that I decided to come back for early morning. After 25 minutes on the subway and a short walk, I got here and had the place mostly to myself. Listened to Jay-Z and the Beastie Boys on my iPod, because let's be honest, you've gotta play some Brooklyn hip-hop when you're there. :)
I really liked these old beams. The perfect foreground interest that I missed the night before.

Hi Clark,
Lovely photo with a perfect management for the contrast of light between the Fg with wood on the beach and the skyline in the Bg, Good depth effect, well made, tfs.

Dear Clark,
You managed a very good composition, thanks to the elements in the foreground we can really feel the space. The difference of the lighting conditions also helps this feel.
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hello Clark
Great how the converging lines of the beams provide an element of contrast in the composition. Good light does the rest. A fine picture. Congratulations.
And the music title reference is another plus. I'd trade the Marley for a Beastie Boys track, though.
Benny
