Photographer's Note
We stopped in St. Patrick's Cathedral because it was freezing outside and I was stunned at the architecture of it. It's gorgeous and quite large. I walked and read the whole thing in about an hour. Then I just sat down and took it all in. I love the ceiling and columns with their detail.
It was very crowded with people. I don't know if that's normal or because it was the week around St. Pat's Day.
i couldn't bring a tripod on my trip so this is taken leaning on the pew in front of me. i'm not sure the exposure. i bracketed from 3 seconds to 1/2 second. this is one of the only ones that was sharp enough to post so it's probably the 1/2 sec. i tried sharpening it but it just got grainier. i did use noise ninja but that didn't seem to help. anyone want to try and help me out here?

Beautiful interior and great colors of church.
Nice perspective you've chosen. Did you use a tripod? It seems a bit blurry. It'd be better if you got it sharper. Why don't you tell us the exposure details? Some people here might help you... just my opinion. Anyway this is a beautiful shot.

It is a beautiful building. I'm guessing this was taken during the day by the lighting and shadows. However, I have to agree with you that this isn't a very sharp picture. Some sharpening and then hitting it with an unsharp mask would help. I'll post a workshop of my efforts.
