Photographer's Note
This image is a scan from a Holga negative. I have previously posted images of this angel. WHat differs here is that the head you see on the altar is a partial plaster cast of my own head. I keep it in my trunk to use it as a prop from time to time. The image itself was scanned, spotted via clone tool and slightly level adjusted. I then ran it through a tritone and converted it to an rgb. This is the result.

Well your head just keeps showing up, Hugh. I had forgotten what "Thanatos" was until I looked it up just now. Excellent title. I love statue.. and the blurred treeline gives the scene a bit of surrealism.. The only thing is I wish we had a little closer shot of the angel and the head to better focus on their strange communion..the head sort of gets lost at that size with all the detail behind it.
