Photographer's Note
After a wave of warm front in Texas. They are so beautiful in contrast to the bare stems of the trees.
But it is becoming cold again and I am worried these beautiful blossoms would freeze to death. After all, it is not even February yet.
In any case, I hope you enjoy this early gift of spring as much as I did. The background is a building on the campus of Rice University.
PP: overlay of two identical photos, with the first layer darkened a bit to show the sky darker than captured, yet the blossoms's original color retained.

Wow this is a really interesting picture. The sharp blossoms and sharp building behind. The colours go very well together and it is an interesting pov. Btw what's an overlay? You mean the blossom and building were originally two individual pictures? REally nice

What a grea and unusual photo. The detail and fragility of the flowers contrast so well with the strenght and slight blurred building. Good technique.

The weather upsets the seasons doesn't it? Lovely shot of the blossoms Behrang, but I don't think they'll produce fruit come summertime. Very good pp work. TFS.

Whoa--this is pretty cool. I haven't seen these blossoms but I'll be sure to check them out. The colors really stand out against the gray sky.

This is a lovely shot. Beautiful, natural colours, will make a good desktop picture.

Nive picture Behrang!! I like you idea to let that nice building in the background (maybe depth of field should have been slightly smaller? it's a detail...)
I've made a workshop to play with the sky... not easy... I let you tell me what you think. Best regards and CU,
Marc

You have successfully captured the beautiful blossoms even though in such bad weather. Hope you will try again soon in a bright day.
Which campus is this, Behrang? I want to come to see... without a camera ;o)

Great capture Behrang...
I took a look at marcb's workshop and it gives me the sense of the initial shot as you describe it to mmarina. Almost a white sky... but i'm not sure the grey suits the shot either. It feels like a grey filter was place over the full shot. After I get a better feel with post-processing maybe the blossoms only can be sharpened up to provide the punch.

This is a very nice picture. I like the contrast with the sky and the building.

As you are new for me, my sincereally votes of "Wellcome to TE". Thanks very much also for your "Favourite TE" opinion about me. I am a single and modest person. :))
I'm vitising your work, and you have interesting photos, but for me this one is great. Beatiful approach, perspective, colors, and quality. These tree flowers in front of us, are a must.
Well done and my congratulations!
