While walking in front of the Bank of America building on Knoxville, Tennessee. I was surprised by the well lit entry lights at the main entrance. This 12mm is proving to be a very good architecture lens also. Yes a little distortion.....but that is the lure of the lens for us artsy types..

The fish eye view of the scene doesn't bother me at all, although there are some folks who think any photo without perfect perpendicular lines at right angles & tilt correction, is fatally flawed. You're not shooting for a client that wants that, so have fun!

I have a 12 mm Voigtlander and I also like it very much. Its amazing what affects can be achieved with it.

Hello Jimmy,

This really is an excellent composition!
The metal bannister, framed by the lights, makes a very effective guide to the bank.
I like how the curves on the steps seemed to be mimicked in the design of the building.
The distortion makes a quirky photograph.

I like this ultra wide angle lens photo better than the previous one as it has less distortion. A good low and wide POV looking upwards to the building.
