Photographer's Note
Snow and dawn above, water and shadow below. A cold (for me - 25ーF/-4ーC) start to the day at the Grand Canyon. Recent snows made walking the trail along the edge of the South Rim "interesting". However, the lack of human traffic provided a glimpse of the amount of animal life still present through their tracks in the snow. It surprised me as I considered the number of visitors the Park receives.
